I haven't actually browsed the site, but I absolutely love
the idea of a gothic/horror page. So many people don't
understand that those of us who love gothic horror have
simply come to understand and accept the dark side of life.
I wrote a psychological/supernatural thriller that deals
with the transmutation of a character's soul in which it
achieves animated physical form. It is very dark and
surrealistic and the story and the characters live deep in
my soul. I wonder if anyone else is in touch with that
part of their psyche? There are so many strange and
contradictory people out there who claim to have walked
on the "dark side" but I wonder if they truly have. Take
Anne Rice for example, does anyone believe that she would
have been able to create her characters born of pain and
anguish if not for the loss of her daughter? Ms. Rice has
truly walked through hell and lived to tell about it.
If it's possible I wonder if anyone could tell me whatever
happened to American Gothic? Was it cancelled or is it
on hiatus? I would love to talk to anyone who is interested
in discussing this show or any other gothic/horror show/
movie.
