| Observations : | North East England's longest running trad-goth club. We're about music, pure and simple. We play the best in trad goth, gothic rock, goth metal and alternative 80s. No bleep, no nu-metal, no compromises. We promote a friendly club with good music, so if that's what you want, and you are in our neck of the woods, then we are the club for you. While we don't have a dress code, you may feel uncomfortable if not you're not a goth or you don't dress alternatively. Have a look at our gallery (see web site) for guidance. |

| Directions : | If you've never been here before the best directions are from Grey's Monument. Walk down Grainger Street and on your right hand side you'll see an Ann Summers shop, next door to the (now closed) Tap & Spile. Turn right on to Nun Street, and Butlers is on the other side of the road, opposite the Grainger Market. Enter the left hand door, climb the stairs and there you'll find us. |
