Observations : | The Cookie Club moved to it's new larger premises in the autumn of 2001. Spellbound is on the ground floor and plays a selection of traditional goth such as Sisters, Bauhaus, Mission etc plus electro sounds from the likes of Gary Numan, Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, Cure and more up to date tunes from the likes of Apoptygma Berzerk, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, Covenant, Combichrist and VNV Nation. The new club has a great atmosphere with a good dance floor (which is often packed) and good mix of young and older Goth/Alternative punters. The night is Well worth a visit if you are in Notts. |

Directions : | From train station turn right down Carrington Street, walk through the Broadmarsh Centre (Tk Maxx) and carry on in the same direction. Take the lane to the right of McDonalds which opens out into Market Square. Walk left across the market square and look for The Bell Inn pub, St James St runs down the side of The Bell Inn with the New Cookie Club about 75m on the right hand side. |
